As a news junkie, I'm a big fan of RSS/etc and the sleek feed readers that have grown up around it. My personal favourite is Netvibes.

Since my Drupal tab was getting a little crowded, I decided to create a multi-feed widget for all my Drupal groups. Netvibes made this super simple with its RSS Reader example. Which took only a little tweaking to result in...

It was fun to spend a few minutes writing a custom widget, but I've opted to go with RSS Mixer instead:
