Content, Functionality, and/or Presentation

Drupal, in particular, enables the management of content, users, and the control of functionality and presentation. Let's inspect the main three, and fairly discrete, components of a website:
- Content: What you and the site users care most about.
- Functionality: Facilitates the access, creation, and management of content and users.
Drupal: a blog? CMS? in need of a 'slogan'?

Clients are looking for web designers, developers, blogs, web pages, and/or web sites. The semantics of those terms mean very different things, for example to a graphic designer who creates web page mockups using Photoshop and to a software architect who is designing a plugin for Drupal and your favourite CRM tool. Let's set some ground rules and agree on some common terminology.
